This release fixes two issues affecting the recent v1.8.0.855 and v1.8.0.862 builds: a bug that could cause feed lists to be lost on upgrade, and a set of interface changes that made existing subscriptions look like they’d disappeared when they hadn’t — covered in more detail in Your feeds aren’t missing.

Dennis has spent the past six years working at the intersection of AI, software, and digital media — building with AI, writing about it, and separating what’s genuinely useful from what’s simply noise.
With a background in software and web development, digital marketing, and copywriting, he takes a hands-on approach to the work behind this site. The focus is on practical AI tools and workflows that have been tested in the real world, not recycled theory.
In 2026, Dennis took on the publication behind RSS Bandit, an open-source feed reader with more than a decade of history. Today, he is applying that same core idea to the modern information overload: helping people keep up with what matters without drowning in tabs.

That sync…
