Your Feeds Aren't Missing

In v1.8.0.862, we made a change to the user interface which we thought would be helpful but instead has turned out to be very confusing to our users. The change was to remove to (+) and (-) indicators that let you know whether the top level nodes of a subscription have been expanded or not. The reason we made this change was to give more room for the text describing the node. The negative consequence of this change is that if your subscription tree isn't expanded it looks like you have no subscriptions as shown below.

As you can see it says I have 175 subscriptions but I can't see any of them. However once I double clicked on the name of the subscriptions in my tree view then tree is expanded and you can see the feed list.

This is was a bad user interface decision on our part which has served to confuse users and we will be fixing it in our next release. We apologise for any confusion it has caused.

Double clicking doesn't help. Mine says 0 feeds. I loose the feeds again every time I exit RSS bandit.

This has also just happened to me. I get a 'Loading feedlist' status that never goes away.

No, subscribed feeds says 0.

Before upgrading, I had more than 100. Everything is gone... even with 1.8.0.862. Please HELP ! ! !

Except some are...

To ensure a clean install after I exported my feeds, removed RSS Bandit, installed the new version and imported the list. (native and RSS Bandit). Some of the feeds did not survive the import (but are there in the opml and native files)

Just to make sure I understand, the issue is that you are losing your entire feed list after each restart? If so what version of RSS Bandit are you using and on what OS? Also can you provide your trace.log and error.log files so we can diagnose the problem?

The new build is better at this. Still won't display favicons for me irrespective of settings
