History

RSS Bandit first implementation was started by Dare Obasanjo's MSDN article: Building a Desktop News Aggregator. This is now an Open Source project. It was hosted on GotDotNet workspace, and lives now at Sourceforge.net. Users interested in contributing to or taking a look at the latest source code should have a look there.

There exists now an updated article on MSDN: Revamping the RSS Bandit Application

Developer Information

Programmers interested in obtaining current snapshots of the RSS Bandit source code should read the instructions for getting anonymous CVS access (current release, CLR 1.1 code) or how to obtain access to SVN (CLR 2.0 code). In addition, you will need the trial version of Infragistics NetAdvantage for Windows Forms to be able to compile the project. If you just like to browse the sources online or get notfied about code changes, you can use now FishEye to browse CVS sources and SVN sources too. You can also find information about recently implemented features and bug fixes.
