RSS Bandit v1.9.0.1002 Release
So 4 Jul, 2010; by dareo - Release Notes
Torsten and I have been busy working on the rewriting the RSS Bandit UI using Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) and moving to a ribbon based model. We've had to quickly take a break to fix a problem caused by recent changes in how Google Reader handles authenticated requests from client applications which stopped the synchronization between Google Reader and RSS Bandit.
That problem is fixed with the new release and we've added a little present for Windows 7 users as well.

Google Reader sync should be fixed in version 1.9.0.1002
Are you seeing an error? If so, what is it?

How do I get rid of the green progress bar in the taskbar of RSS Bandit in Windows 7 stop? It is very annoying.

Does anyone notice this release hanging more than normal compared to the prior version..?

Yes, i have definately noticed that this release hangs WAY more. I had to revert back to previuos version. Very easy to reproduce - just click on any feed item, IE window tab opens, and then mouse cursor turns into hourglass for seconds and locks up RSSBandit - very annoying. I am used to go through feeds and just click and open all interesting stuff and then read them after. Current version is not allowing me to do so due to hangs.

The green bar in the taskbar is indeed very annoying, there needs to be an option to customize this.
